We had a third
outdoor training session with coaches and volunteers from youth football
academies around Kumba today. We trained them in a new ice-breaking activity,
as well as three new football drills that can be used to teach kids about life
skills topics, such as diversifying your skill set, preparation, teamwork,
assisting others, knowing your responsibility, and facing unexpected
circumstances. As usual, we expect the coaches to turn around and use these
drills with the youth players at their respective academies.
