When I asked my house "sister" what kind of meat accompanied the plantains and tomato sauce on my dinner plate, she responded, "Trotters."
Trotters are Cameroonian for "pig feet." They aren't as clearly visible in the first two pictures, but I think the last picture, which shows the bones after I've chewed them dry of meat, confirms that I was indeed eating pig feet.
